Mommy & Baby Class (age 0-3)

For parents of little ones ages 4 months to 3 years old, learn to support your baby or toddler in the water and teach them how to safely enjoy supported movement and floating exercises. Half-hour class.

Beginner CLass
Swimmers will be supported in the water to learn the fundamentals of swimming, such as floating, breath control, arm and leg movement, and underwater exploration. This level is great for swimmers who need some support to build confidence in the water. Swimmers will use flotation aids, toys, and games to practice their skills. Half-hour class.

Intermediate Class (equivalent to American Red Cross Level 3)

Swimmers will build on swimming fundamentals with the goal of achieving water competency. Swimmers will practice the fundamentals with and without support, be introduced to different ways to move through the water using strokes, floating, treading and underwater exploration. Half-hour class.

Stroke Clinic (equivalent to American Red Cross Level 4 &5)

Swimmers will learn the fundamentals of the four competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly), and the 2 survival strokes (Elementary Backstroke, Sidestroke). Swimmers will gain endurance along with technique and refinement. Swimmers should be water competent before joining this level (for example, be able to jump into deep water, tread for one minute & swim the length of the pool). These swimmers are encouraged to use goggles and swim caps with long hair. Classes are 45 minutes.

Private Lessons are also available with Coach Hayes.
