    Join us for the annual clean-up day to get the Stowe Tennis Club ready for business!

    Tasks include hanging windscreens (bring your ladders), yard work (bring your rakes, tarps and maybe a leaf blower), gardening and weeding, cleaning up the clubhouse and bringing out furniture.

    The 2021 Afternoon Junior Program (Ages 8-14) 1:00-4:00pm, Monday through Friday: 2-hour tennis session followed by a 1-hour monitored pool session. 

    Registration is now open for the full 8-week program as well as a limited number of sign-ups for each week individually (we're calling them "drop-ins", so juniors can drop in only on selected weeks). 

    To register more than one child, or to sign-up for more than one drop-in week, select your first child or week, then fill out the necessary info, then select the "Invoice Me" option on the payment page. There, select "New Registration" to create a new registration for the same event. When finished all registrations for all events, go to your member profile (your name in the top right corner), then "Invoices and Payments", then pay the total combined invoice online. 

    To cancel a registration, from "My Event Registrations" click on the desired reservation, and select "Cancel Registration". Contact us for refunds (must cancel by Sunday June 13th for a refund).

    The Future Stars Program (Ages 4 to 8, *8 year olds have a choice between the Future Stars and the Junior Program): Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30pm. 

    Registration is now open, priced weekly with a limited number of spots each week. Sign up for each week individually up to 8 weeks.

    2021 High School Practice: Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00pm led by Mike Tasi.

    *Updated* This event has been changed: Reserve your spot for free by signing up and cancel (or notify staff) up to 2 days before each practice (sign-ups close the Sunday before). 

    The cost is $30 per week and will be charged to a card on file or invoiced prior to each Tuesday's practice. 

    Sign-up is open for each practice individually. Please note that there is a minimum of 4 players and maximum of 8 players each practice (there is a waitlist if needed). Players will be notified the if practice must be cancelled by Sunday night.

    Inter-club matches may be organized on Thursday evenings, with competition against neighboring clubs to be determined. Additional practice sessions, high school clinics, or match play to be coordinated when possible. Please stay tuned.

    We are excited to announce that Louisa (Weeze) Hayes, professional swim instructor, will be returning to coach our swim program this summer. Lesson times are subject to change until a minimum of three children have signed up. To sign up but pay at a later date when the class schedule is confirmed, select the "Invoice Me" option at the end of the sign-up process. 

    Classes will be offered the following days: 

    Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday
    July 6, 7 & 8
    July 13, 14 & 15
    (Possible Third Week August 3, 4 and 5)

    If lessons are cancelled due to thunderstorms we will have make-up lessons July 9th and 16th.

    Mommy & Baby Class (age 0-3)
    For parents of little ones ages 4 months to 3 years old, learn to support your baby in the water. Half-hour class. 

    Beginner Lesson 
    Swimmers will be supported in the water to learn the fundamentals of swimming, such as floating, breath control, arm and leg movement, and underwater exploration. This level is great for swimmers who need some support to build confidence in the water. Swimmers will use flotation aids, toys, and games to practice their skills. Half-hour class. 

    Intermediate Lesson (equivalent to American Red Cross Level 3)
    Swimmers will build on swimming fundamentals with the goal of achieving water competency. Swimmers will practice the fundamentals with and without support, be introduced to different ways to move through the water using strokes, floating, treading and underwater exploration. Half-hour class.

    Stroke Clinic (equivalent to American Red Cross Level 4 &5)
    Swimmers will learn the fundamentals of the four competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly), and the 2 survival strokes (Elementary Backstroke, Sidestroke). Swimmers will gain endurance along with technique and refinement. Swimmers should be water competent before joining this level (for example, be able to jump into deep water, tread for one minute & swim the length of the pool). These swimmers are encouraged to use goggles and swim caps with long hair. Classes are 45 minutes. 

    Private Lessons are also available with Coach Hayes.
